Things have been so hectic around here that it seems like we blinked and skipped straight from July to October! We have a ton of updates and have welcomed a slew of new arrivals-- from baby horses to baby people.

Fall Products
The calendar says it's October now-- which can only mean that it is time to break out the sweaters and pack away your sandals. Need some autumn goodies to get in the mindset? Hill Place has you covered; this fall we are offering:

Field grown pumpkins. Perfect size for jack-o-lantern carving, or just to decorate your porch. You can find them self-serve at the farm.
Ready for fall soups? Check out our website or stop into the farm to find our full list of beef, pork, and sausage to get that pot simmering.
Reusable insulated grocery bags to help you get to all your fall potlucks.
All of our meat is raised by us on our farm and processed in a USDA facility.

Beef Herd Update
Ervin isn't the only new face around here! After quite a bit of research, we decided that we needed to add some Red Devon to our beef herd. We got lucky when we found a young bull for sale just a town over. After some time in the barn getting used to us, Ronnie joined the cattle out to pasture. With any luck in about 9 months we'll have some new additions to the beef herd.
Looking to fill your freezer for winter?
We can't really help you get that nice 8 pointer to fill it up, but we do offer our delicious beef and pork in discounted bulk bundles to help you stock up. Our meat cut availability is constantly changing, but if you would like a bulk order contact us to put together a custom bundle!

Welcome Grandbabies!
We have been extra busy this summer helping our eldest daughter prepare for the arrival of twins. This gave us lots of extra time with our granddaughters, and we're very happy to report that both new baby boys were born healthy on September 23 and are now home settling in.
Planning for Spring
The frame for the greenhouse is finally up. We have high hopes for what we'll be able to do with this greenhouse. Now that we've assembled the structure, we can get the plastic up and be ready to go this spring to get some seeds sprouting.
